Owned and operated by Dave and Lynette Rekart, Pacific Color Graphics has been in business since 2001 as a commercial printer, and advertising specialties solutions provider. Dave has worked in the printing industry for over 20 years and has made it his goal to provide his clients with the best quality printing at reasonable prices, using the newest technology to achieve amazing results. Pacific Color is much more than printing though; the business has grown to include sign and banner production, trade show displays and backdrops, retail POP displays, food and beverage packaging, and now company store management and fulfillment. Pacific Color is the one stop shop for all of your marketing needs, providing you with consistent printing that creates a cohesive brand for your business.
Pacific Color maintains and exceeds industry standards in printing and customer service; we are one of few commercial printers in the Bay Are that maintain ISO 9000:2000 certification. It is always our goal to provide superior products and that is achieved through using the best technology, employing the most knowledgeable team members, and maintaining standards as high, if not higher than required by the printing industry. Our quality control and proofing system guarantees that our clients are getting exactly what they want out of our printing. We are also a green business that is FSC Certified, meaning our paper comes from responsibly managed forests. The U.S. is the largest market for paper products in the world, producing 90 million tons of paper annually and, in-turn, consuming about 100 million tons. Despite improved technologies for refining post-consumer pulp, virgin fiber is still a significant requirement, as only 35% of current consumption is met by using recycled fiber. In addition, approximately 25% of recovered fiber is exported out of US markets. Roughly 25% of timber cut annually by volume in the US is used for paper production. Knowing this, we work to maintain environmentally consciences practices for our clients, our business, and our planet.
